Plan your visit

Plan it once, enjoy it twice.

A little planning goes a long way at the Grand Canyon. Here's how booking works, when to go, what's usually included, and what to bring — plus answers to the questions we hear most.

How booking works

Three simple steps.

1

Tell us what you want

Share how you'd like to see the canyon, your dates, group size, and what matters most — by the booking form or a quick call.

2

We match & confirm

Your concierge compares vetted, FAA-certified operators, recommends the best tour, and confirms exact, all-in pricing.

3

You travel

Get picked up (on most tours), meet your operator, and enjoy the canyon. We're here if anything needs to change.

When to go

Best time to visit.

The canyon is a year-round destination from Las Vegas, but the seasons feel different.

  • Spring & fall — mild temps and clear light; the sweet spot
  • Summer — long days and reliable flights, but hot at the floor; go early
  • Winter — crisp air, dramatic light, fewer crowds; dress warm at the South Rim
  • Sunrise & sunset — the most striking color any time of year

What's typically included

  • Flight or coach transport to the rim
  • A guide or pilot narration
  • Applicable park / attraction fees
  • Hotel or Strip pickup on many tours
  • Add-ons like the Skywalk, river float, or meals vary by tour

Exact inclusions vary by operator — we confirm them, and the all-in price, before you book.

What to bring

  • Photo ID for everyone in your party
  • Comfortable closed-toe shoes
  • Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat
  • Layers — it's cooler at the rim, hot on the floor
  • Water and a light snack for longer trips
  • A camera (note: none allowed on the Skywalk itself)
Accessibility

Traveling with mobility needs?

Several tours and viewpoints are accessible, and many operators can accommodate wheelchairs or limited mobility — though helicopters and some floor experiences have physical requirements. Let us know your needs when you book and we'll match you with an operator that can meet them.
